Qurban 2024

Qurban “Sacrifice” is a centuries-old tradition that came from the prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), who, as a sign of love and obedience to the Creator of the worlds, decided to make a sacrifice many times more valuable than an animal, which was the son his.

 

However, the Creator of the worlds, God Almighty, stopped this action by replacing it with the sacrifice of an animal.

 

Sacrifice also exists in other religions besides Islam.

 

Muslims around the world, in the month of Dhul-Hijjah (which coincides with the pilgrimage period in Mecca), sacrifice an animal that must meet certain criteria, as a sign of humility, obedience, love and submission to the Creator.

 

After the animal is slaughtered to a certain standard, 1/3 of its meat is shared with the poor who cannot feed themselves, 1/3 with relatives or friends, 1/3 is kept for the family.

 

Every Muslim should perform this ritual only for the sake of God.

The Albanian Muslim Association wants to organise a Qurban this year.

 

The price of each Qurban animal will be $250.00 AUD.

 

All of the Qurban met Islamic standards: their horns were not cut off, their tails were not cut off, and their sex was not removed.

How this works?
After you register your name, you will be able to make the payment through a second link
After that, your Qurban will be processed on the day of Eid al-Ad’ha, and you will be notified when your meat is ready for pick up.
We will email you the address from which you can receive the meat, and also offer you the option to donate a portion to people in need if you haven’t found such a case in your area.
